I want to start the "speaker notes are not for you the speaker" movement.

You put so much work into your beautiful presentation with nearly contentless slides, so why not write out some notes to get greater impact from all the work you put into it?

@ronallo I was inspired by Mita Williams who has frequently turned her talks into blog posts, by using the speaker notes as connective tissues (or at least that's what it looked like to me).

I've tried a few variations, including the blog post approach, posting my reveal.js slides with the notes turned on, or using the reveal.js HTML with notes as a starting point for an article or blog post.

@dbs yes, I want to get better about doing the blog post single page version. I have been able to do this in the past with markdown slides:

Still working on how to do the single page slides with speaker notes exposed version of how I'm doing slides now.
